Gary J. Martone – Attorney at Law

Attorney Gary J. Martone has practiced disability law since 1968, beginning with administrative hearings and legal research for the San Francisco Neighborhood Assistance Foundation. After relocating to Albuquerque in 1971, he worked at the Legal Aid Society, serving as executive director from 1976 to 1980. His experience assisting individuals with state disability benefits inspired his lifelong dedication to helping New Mexicans. Following a brief time with Wheeler & Associates, Gary became well-known in the community and received numerous referrals for Social Security disability representation. 

In 1985, he incorporated the Martone Law Firm, P.A., leading it until mid-2025, when he transitioned to his current solo practice, Gary J. Martone, Attorney at Law, P.A. For nearly four decades, he has represented claimants across New Mexico, including rural communities with limited access to experienced attorneys.

Outside his practice, Gary enjoys cycling, walking his dogs, and spending time with his grandchildren. He fosters a family-friendly atmosphere at his firm while providing skilled, compassionate representation to disability claimants.
